HAKI TAKES TO GREAT HEIGHTS IN CHÂTEAU DU HAUT-KŒNIGSBOURG PROJECT

Check out this outstanding job high up on the top of the mountains on the amazing Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg in Orschwiller, 50Km south of Strasbourg, France 

On December 16th 2011, the roof of the ‘keep’ (Donjon) of the castle was severely damaged by Joachim (2011 storm) & the upper roof tiles had to be replaced and/or repaired. 

Enter HAKI – to provide access for a specialized roofer, from Spring 2013-2014. 

HAKI Scaffolding was fixed directly to the top of the keep, so that the site could remain open to public during the renovation works. (A scaffold erected from the ground would create too much interference). 

Safe & versatile HAKITEC 750 beams came out through the windows of the ancient building to support the whole structure. And a part of the structure is suspended and anchored to the keep for stability.
