HAKI SPECIFIED FOR OFFSHORE EQUINOR PLATFORM 

HAKI is the NO.1 choice for the off-shore petrochemical industry. Here is the Equinor Platform (formerly Statoil). It’s a 70,000-ton platform for the Åsta Hansten field located in the Norwegian Sea, built at the Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe facility in Ulsan, South Korea. 

The substructure weighs 45,000 tons, it is 200 meters long and 50 meters in diameter. 

It was then shipped to Norway & starts operation in January 2017. To help create this super-structure, HAKI Scaffolding was used & bespoke packing and shipping crates were designed & built at the HAKI factory in Sibbhult. 

The scaffold was then used to remove sea fastening when turned up/down. Once in situ in Norway, this will be a major offshore contract for Kværner.
